Nollywood star Adeyemo Adebola, widely known as Seiilat, is marking a special milestone — her 5th wedding anniversary with her husband, Peju Adeyemo — and she took to Instagram to share heartfelt reflections on their journey together.
In an emotional post, Seiilat expressed that the past five years have felt both fleeting and timeless. She explained that time has flown because their love has been so sweet, yet it has also felt long as her husband has become an inseparable part of her soul. She expressed gratitude for his unwavering love and commitment.
Seiilat shared:
“Happy 5th anniversary, my love. Five years with you feels like five minutes and a lifetime all at once — short because it’s been so beautiful, long because you’ve become part of my soul. Thank you for choosing me every single day. Thank you for loving me so deeply. I’m grateful for us, for our journey, and for the wonderful years still ahead. I love you.”
She went on to describe Peju as her source of comfort and strength, reflecting on the lessons of true partnership, peace, and love that the past five years have taught her.
“My husband, my comfort, my strength. These five years have shown me what genuine partnership, real peace, and authentic love truly mean. You’ve cherished my heart, embraced my flaws with understanding, and created a home within my spirit. I’m proud to walk through life with you.”
Seiilat also shared that her love continues to deepen with each passing day.
“Even after five years, my heart still skips a beat at the sound of your voice. You are my protector, my calm, my man — the one who makes me feel safe and cherished. I fall for you over and over again, in new and deeper ways.”
Infusing humor into her heartfelt message, she recounted the little everyday moments that make their marriage special.

Earlier in the week, Seiilat playfully added that even after half a decade of marriage, her heart “does a TikTok dance” whenever Peju walks in.
The couple recently welcomed their second child in Canada in March, and Peju surprised Seiilat with a brand-new car as a thoughtful push gift.
